Tros an Treys is a Cornish dance group that was formed in spring 2008 and is based in Penzance. The name means ‘noise of feet’, and we wear the colours of the Cornish Chough (red, black and silver). Our dancers are from all age ranges, and our band loves to play Cornish music, old and new!


We have danced at Aberfest, Royal Cornwall Show, Wadebridge Folk Festival,
Golowan, St Ives September Festival, Montol, Lowender Peran, Newlyn Fish Festival and many smaller events. At the Cornish Dance Competitions we won a first prize in 2008, and a first and third in 2009.
